Emu Bird

About The Emu:

An Emu is a prehistoric bird native to Australia that provided the Aborigines with food, clothing, shelter, and healing. They are the second largest bird in the world with other flightless relatives like the ostrich, rhea, and cassowary. An Emu stands 5 to 6 feet tall and can weigh up to 55 kg. Emu eggs come in various shades of green, some eggs are smooth, and some are porous, often varying in size and shape.

The Emu continues to be a natural resource of food, clothing, and healing. They are valued for many healthy, unique products that the world needs including eggs, meat, oil, leather, feathers, fertilizer and more. The bird is wholly usable.
